Deel 2: The Chinese Lion Dance

Music with beating of drums, cymbals and gongs. The instruments syncronise to the lions dance movements and actions.

Gymnasts perform lion dances in which two or more performers dress up like a big lion.

The Chinese believe that lions are full of power and grandeur. They are supposed to be auspicious animals which can bring good luck.

Stone carved lions are used as decorations and can be seen at old buildings dating from the Qing Dynasty.

Twee mense in perfekte harmonie.

Dis super indrukwekkend as die leeu homself uitstrek.

The show was super entertaining and the gymnasts highly skilled.

Suid~Afrika of China.

Ons almal het maar ons leeuloop.
