Terug na God.
Terug na myself.
Ek slaan my oë op na die berge,
waar sal my hulp vandaan kom?

Van Hom alleen.

ek wou seker wees voordat ek op hierdie punt kom
soos met ander groot besluite wat ek moes neem
ek kan nie nou stop en onthou nie
ek kan nie nou sin of rede probeer vind nie
no regrets
geen hoekom
geen nostalgie
net vergeet
alles
sluit die gedagtes
girdle up en lewe!

Weer ‘n oor begin.
Al verskil hierdie keer is dat alles verskil.
So, ek hoef nie te vergelyk nie,
Want hierdie is voor.
Daar is niks om te volg nie,
Niks wat ek doelbewus najaag nie.
Net ruimte vir vrede,
En nog ‘n groter ruimte vir myself.

Vandag voel dit asof die hekke van my siel oopstaan.
Asof ek weer in voeling kom en kans sien.
Ek wil dinge van nou af anders doen,
Meer authentic.
Nuwe alignment.
Accountable, reflective, curious.
Purposeful.
